Pre-shift inspections
The checklist matches the machine. A breaker asks about hose leaks, tool-bit wear and retaining pins, not a generic list written for a truck. Any item can carry a photo, a note, or go straight to maintenance.
Browser workflows available today
SolidTrack on the phone is not a shrunken dashboard. The Mobile App field workflows available today run in the browser and cover the handful of things a crew actually needs beside a machine: run the pre-shift check, report what is wrong, and clock on to the site. Native iOS and Android apps are in development and are not yet released.
A record written at the machine is a different thing from one written in an office at six o'clock. That is most of the value here, and it only happens if the tool is quick enough that nobody puts it off.
The checklist matches the machine. A breaker asks about hose leaks, tool-bit wear and retaining pins, not a generic list written for a truck. Any item can carry a photo, a note, or go straight to maintenance.
Damage is reported where it is found, with a photograph and severity. The entry joins the equipment record so the workshop can review it without waiting for the next service visit.
Print a code for each site. Crews check in by scanning it, or by GPS proximity when they arrive. Hours accumulate against the site without anyone filling in a sheet.
Every field system fails the same way: it asks for more than a person standing in the dust will give it, so the entries get thinner until they stop. SolidTrack uses the camera, the scanner and the phone's position to do the typing, because the record only stays accurate as long as making it stays fast.
It opens in the phone's browser. A new operator is working as soon as they open the link, with no app store, no IT request and no company handset.
Photos attach to the inspection item or incident they belong to.
Authorized users can open equipment documents from the asset record in the current browser workflow.
GPS proximity can be used for attendance check-in where device permissions allow it.
No fleet of company devices to buy, manage or get back when somebody leaves.
Everything, including the checklist items themselves, in either language.
One record
There is no separate field record to reconcile. A check completed on the phone appears on the equipment record in the web platform, a reported incident joins the incident list, and a missed pre-shift check can raise an alert. The office and the site work from the same information.
See the platform side of the same record.
In development
The field workflows above are available in the browser today. Native iOS and Android apps are in development around field work rather than as copies of the web administration panel.
The native apps will add push delivery for supported SolidTrack alerts.
The native apps will allow supported field forms to be captured without a connection and submitted after connectivity returns.
The native apps will support biometric sign-in on compatible devices.
The native experience is being designed around the tasks crews perform on site, not as a copy of every web module or administration screen.
If the release timing matters to how you roll this out, tell us and we will share the current development status.
We will set up a site, a machine and a checklist that match your operation, then walk a shift through it.
