Thresholds decide when supported conditions become alerts, including how low a battery may fall and how long an asset may stay silent before it counts as offline. Geofence events use configured boundaries and reported positions.
Tune supported thresholds once you have a few weeks of your own data rather than on day one. Set them too tight and the team learns to dismiss alerts; too loose and an event that needs attention may sit unnoticed. Adjust one threshold at a time so you can tell what changed.
