Activate the unit by holding a magnet against the magnet symbol for five to ten seconds. Allow fifteen to twenty minutes before expecting it online; a new unit can keep blinking for a while before its first successful transmission.
Then confirm three things in the console: the asset appears on Live Map with a plausible latest reported location, its last-seen time is recent, and recorded activity begins to accumulate when the equipment operates. If location is wrong, stale or absent, review mounting position, sky view, network coverage and reporting cadence before treating the unit as faulty.
